Luxaby Baby is founded by Molly Vernon—a mother of two little girls who enjoys finding good quality and classic styled items for babies and children. Upon realizing that I was traveling all over to find quality products for my daughters that I could not find locally, I came up with the idea of opening a small boutique that carries my most favorite clothing and gifts.

The name Luxaby (pronounced like 'lullaby') came as a suggestion from a dear friend when we were brainstorming names a few years back. The name stuck with me for a while and turned into a fairy tale that I would tell my oldest daughter, Carolyn, at night. Luxaby Lilly was a fairy who came from the magical town of Luxaby. It soon became my daughter's favorite bedtime story and we often make up fun exciting places where Luxaby Lilly goes to in her adventures. When my dream of the online site was actually coming true it became clear that Luxaby had to be in the name as it had already become a magical name for stories and dreams within our family.
