The ever-popular Rachel Riley slippers are made in possibly the last remaining hand-made slipper factory in France, reminiscent of the story of the Elves and the Shoe-maker.
They are hand sewn and hand turned, in a similar way to making a garment. All the seams are on the inside, which means only the softest leathers can be used.
